The Sunflower Studio is open to both hotel guests and the general public, over the age of 16 (exceptions may be possible with approval from therapist). Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent throughout the full treatment.

Body Treatments
Aromatherapy Ritual (includes take-home gift)
Most of us can't go to the spa every day so I wanted to give you the luxury of experiencing this treatment and then using the information at home. Treatment includes; dry body brushing - a technique that stimulates blood and lymph flow, exfoliates the skin and some say aids in removing cellulite (but let's not go there), then essential oils are applied, paying special attention to the back, lower legs, feet, arms and facial area. When used correctly the properties of essential oils have the power to relax, balance or stimulate our body and mind. A beautiful wellness treatment for you to take home.

Algae Body Masque
Elements of the sea (algae) congregatin' with the desert (aloe vera plant). The algae brings detoxification and rejuvenation of the skin. The aloe vera plant brings hydration and too many healing properties to mention. Treatment includes; dry body brushing or upgrade to a salt glow, this will stimulate blood circulation and prepare your skin for product application/absorption, next I paint you from neck to toe with the warm algae masque and wrap you up...after you wake up, the masque is removed and is followed up with a lavish application of moisture-rich body creme.

Foot Treatments - the "gateway" to the body
Coffee Break - stimulating (this is the smaller version of Breakfast in Bed Body Wrap)
Simply a yummy natural way to achieve relaxation and glowing skin, not to mention it's a great conversation starter to "what did you do today?". Treatment includes; oatmeal or a warm milk foot soak, gentle exfoliation of lower leg and foot by way of a coffee and coconut-butter scrub, then get ready to be smoothed by an egg white clay masque followed by a fantastic lower leg and foot massage with grapefruit or orange essential oils.

Sea Air - detoxifying
Treatment includes; foot soak, salt exfoliation (note to self: never shave before a treatment), then a pure micronized algae hydrated with aloe vera is applied and sealed with a wrap... meditate and think of white sand and before you know it, it's time for the wrap to be removed and at last comes a wonderful lower leg and foot massage.

Sole Searching
Essential oils have been used for therapeutic purposes for nearly six thousand years. You guide your own journey by choosing from four different formulas of essential oils.
Relaxing contains: mandarin, thyme, lemongrass, cinnamon and lavender.
Balancing contains: sage, rosemary, black pepper, marjoram, lavender and juniper berry.
Stimulating contains: lemongrass, cinnamon, thyme, galbanum and lavender.
Woodstock 1969 contains: patchouli and sandalwood.

Warm Java Scrub
A warm creamy body exfoliation containing coffee and coconut butter. This treatment can be a warm up to the Breakfast in Bed Body Wrap or as a stand alone treatment in which after the removal of the java scrub an application of orange infused moisture cream is lavishly applied.

A luxurious body wrap is even better than being curled up with your favorite book, on a Sunday afternoon. Treatment includes; grapefruit foot soak, dry body brushing to stimulate circulation and exfoliates the skin, next comes the application of the yummy body masque which features rich cream and honey to moisturize and egg whites to tone and tighten. While you are cocooned in the masque you are treated to a relaxing foot massage. Once the wrap is removed, the finish is an application of sweet orange moisture-rich body creme.
